So yesterday (Feb 8th 2012) at 1:10pm exactly I received my acceptance letter from the Disney College Program. Needless to say it was the best day ever!! As soon as I got it, I ran out of my classroom and called my parents. Bursting with excitement I spilled my amazing news. When I returned to class I looked at the position I was being offered and was shocked to see Hospitality. Last semester when I applied I was told I would probably not get Hospitality because it is a very competitive spot and is mostly only given to people with experience. Which I have none of at the front desk. So this time around I put attractions and merchandising at the top, figuring I would get one of those two positions. NO, I was offered the perfect position for me, Hospitality. Here is a little tidbit of my acceptance letter...

So basically in my position I will be working the front desk and doing other concierge duties. At the moment I do not know which hotel I will be working at, I actually won't find out until I check in on Aug 29th. I'm super excited to get down there and start my magical journey. I'm mostly excited about meeting new people and of course working for Disney. This has been my dream since I was 3 years old. 17 years later, it's finally coming true!!
